Meet Lindsay PiersolÂ
Nutrition, Fitness, and Health Coach
I have over 20 years of experience in healthcare and have worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2008. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Lander University and my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Clemson University. Throughout the majority of my career, I have focused on providing comprehensive care in rural family medicine.
In 2011, I personally faced significant health challenges, which deepened my passion for preventive and functional medicine. This experience motivated me to further specialize in helping others address the root causes of health issues, particularly those related to chronic inflammation.
Drawing on both my professional background and personal journey, I developed a six-month one-on-one coaching program designed to empower women to take control of their health and well-being. My program focuses on helping women reverse, prevent, and manage chronic conditions, particularly those linked to inflammation. I am deeply committed to supporting women in achieving their full health potential and living vibrant, healthy lives.
Thank you for joining me on my journey!

It All Started for me Personally When...
After the birth of my third child, I began experiencing a range of unexplained symptoms, including joint pain, fatigue, brain fog, and skin breakouts. Initially, I attributed these symptoms to the physical and emotional toll of having three young children and returning to work. However, as time went on, my symptoms worsened to the point where I struggled to function in my daily life. Some days, even getting out of bed was a daunting challenge, bringing me to the verge of tears.
I felt lost, afraid, and defeated. Since my symptoms weren’t visibly apparent to others, I began questioning whether they were simply in my head. I feared that people would dismiss my struggles as exaggerated, so I pushed myself to keep going. But after a year, it became impossible to ignore what was happening. My mental health began to decline, and I experienced significant weight loss due to ongoing digestive issues.
Eventually, I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease, followed by a diagnosis of Psoriasis with Psoriatic Arthritis just three months later. I was immediately prescribed a range of medications to manage my symptoms. Initially, my condition improved, and I thought I was on the road to recovery. However, after 3–4 years of treatment, my symptoms took a sudden turn for the worse. When I returned to my rheumatologist, I was diagnosed with drug-induced lupus. At that point, I felt utterly defeated, and the solution offered was to increase the medication dosage to better control the symptoms.
It was at this moment that I realized I needed to take control of my health and seek a solution that was not solely reliant on medication. I knew that I had to explore alternative approaches to healing that would not only improve my well-being but also allow me to make the best choices for myself and my family.

 Then Everything Changed...
Â
Now I'm able To Bring everything I have learned and developed to help you make the change...
In the beginning, I found myself grappling with the "why" of my condition. Anyone who faces a significant health challenge that impacts their ability to function can relate to the sense of grief that often accompanies such a transition.
Initially, I experienced denial, trying to push through and ignore my symptoms. This was followed by anger, as I struggled to understand why I was being forced to go through this process. My husband was in the military, and I felt a deep sense of responsibility to support him as a wife, while also caring for three young children under the age of five. There simply wasn’t time for me to prioritize my own health, a challenge that many driven, successful women can relate to.
Eventually, I reached a point of acceptance. I realized that this experience, though difficult, could offer valuable lessons. It became clear that I could turn my personal health struggles into an opportunity for growth. Not only would I be a better healthcare provider because of my experiences, but I could also empathize more deeply with my patients, especially when they presented with vague, unexplained symptoms affecting multiple areas of their body.
As I made the necessary changes to detoxify my life and adopt an anti-inflammatory lifestyle, I began to see improvements in my own health. I also recognized that the positive changes I made for myself could have a ripple effect, improving the health of my family as well.
Having practiced for several years in family medicine, I now feel a strong calling to expand my reach beyond the clinic. By offering my services online, I hope to provide support and guidance to individuals facing similar health challenges—helping them take control of their health, address chronic symptoms, and find a path toward lasting wellness.
Thank you for joining me on this journey!Â
