Hi, I’m Lindsay Piersol
I’m a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 17 years of experience who specializes in helping women with chronic autoimmune and inflammatory issues to find relief, restore vitality, and finally feel heard.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lander University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Clemson University. I am also a Certified Nutritional Coach and certified in Stress Management and Recovery.Â
My master’s thesis, titled “Decreasing Psychological Distress During the Diagnosis and Treatment of Pediatric Leukemia,” was published in the Journal of Pediatric Oncology Nursing, highlighting my focus on the intersection of emotional support and medical treatment.
My commitment to continuous learning is reflected in the more than 30 hours I complete yearly in continuing education. I stay current with advancements in total wellness, disease prevention, herbal and supplement treatments, and more.
My Journey Into Becoming A Lifestyle Coach StartedÂ
Approximately 12 years, I was at a point that I felt lost and completely defeated in my life. I woke up everyday with muscle and joint pain, brain fog, and never feeling rested. I was a wife, a mother of three small children, and working full time as a nurse practitioner. I could not afford to feel this way. After months of testing, I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease and Psoriasis with Psoriatic Arthritis. Â
I was started on multiple medications trying to control my symptoms, and while I did feel better I still did not feel like myself. Then my symptoms started to worsen again, and I was diagnosed with a drug-induced lupus. I made the decision at that point that traditional treatments were not what I needed.Â
But One Day, Something Amazing Happened….
I immediately began to research and educate myself on natural treatments and how to detox my life so I could control my symptoms and decrease my inflammation without medications that had severe side effects.Â
Determined to find a path to better health, I delved into research on holistic approaches to nutrition and wellness. I discovered that by changing my eating habits, incorporating whole foods, and re-balancing and detoxing my life, I could significantly enhance my well-being. Understanding the critical role of stress management and recovery, I was able to achieve health improvements that surpassed even my pre-diagnosis state.Â
From This Moment On, My Life Changed Forever
 I feel better in my 40s than I did in my 20s. I've experienced increased energy levels, enhanced lean muscle mass and strength, had noticeable improvements in the health of my hair, skin, and nails, and see improvement in my cognitive function with reduced brain fog.
